Industry 4.0 – future’s economy. Experiences of Polish and Bavarian entrepreneurs
Industry 4.0 – future’s economy – it was the subject of the conference of the Polish and Bavarian entrepreneurs. The meeting took place in Gdynia, on 5 June this year, in the Baltic Port of New Technologies, where the guests were welcomed by Anna Chojnacka, Director of Regionalization and Membership of AHK Polska and Paweł Lulewicz, Vice President of the Management Board of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone.
Prof. Mieczysław Struk, Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodeship, Hubert Aiwanger, Deputy Prime Minister of Bavaria, Minister of Economy, Development and Energy and Cornelia Pieper, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Gdańsk, spoke about strong relationships and the potential for cooperation between the Pomeranian and Bavarian business.
New technologies and their importance for the development of Pomerania are the subject of a wide presentation of Pomerania’s activity in the development of innovative specializations and innovation-based business presented by Adam Mikołajczyk, Director of Economic Development of the Marshal’s Office of the Pomeranian Voivodship. Industry 4.0. in Bavarian solutions in numerous examples, Andreas Reuchlein, director in the Bavarian Ministry of State for Economy, Energy and Technology, discussed interestingly.
These speeches were an important introduction to the discussion on the experiences of implementing industry 4.0 solutions in Poland and Bavaria. The participants of the panel presented both business and legal aspects, discussed the essence of cooperation between science and business and knowledge transfer, as well as the directions of education and development of the workforce for Industry 4.0.
