The allCUTE project – the summarizing conference

The conference summarizing the allCUTE project was held as part of the official 3rd Meeting of the Council of Entrepreneurs of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding of the Gdańsk University of Technology. The Baltic Sea and Space Cluster as a hub of innovation and international business projects was presented by Marek Grzybowski, President of the BSSC Management Board.

 

– The Baltic Sea and Space Cluster act as a hub cluster. The offer of zero-emission ships is supported by comprehensive solutions for power supply and service from shore as well as energy storage. The cluster provides legal and financial support. Science joins forces with business. Large companies support medium and small ones. We implement information technologies, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality – informed president Grzybowski.

The results of the study of skills shortages of technical and engineering workers employed in the mechanical engineering and mechatronics sectors were presented. Prof. Eng. Paweł Śliwiński presented good practices of cooperation between science and business. The program and training system for engineers and technicians at Rockfin were presented by prof. Śliwiński.

How to create a friendly ecosystem for business was discussed by Magdalena Raczyńska, Director of the Export Development Center. The benefits for the company from membership in business environment institutions were presented by Justyna Błaszak-Gondek, RIGP Membership Development Manager.
