Dredging of internal waters of the Port of Gdynia
The task “Reconstruction of the internal waters of the Port of Gdynia to a depth of 16 m” is a key stage of long-term investments carried out by the Port of Gdynia Authority. This is the investment task “Dredging the approach fairway and internal waters of the Port of Gdynia – stages I and III and reconstruction of the quays in the Port of Gdynia – stages II and III”. The project is implemented on the basis of the Co-financing Agreement signed on December 28, 2018.
The implementation of the project belongs to two entities. Dredging of the internal waters of the Port of Gdynia and reconstruction of the quays in the Port is carried out by the Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. The dredging of the entrance fairway to the port of Gdynia is carried out by the Maritime Office in Gdynia.
The dredging of the port is carried out by Jan De Nul NV based in Belgium.
