Pomeranian Special Economic Zone on the path of sustainable development
– Minimizing the impact on the natural environment is not only the directions of development of the PSEZ, but also its policy. We encourage our investors and business partners to undertake pro-ecological projects by sharing good practices and applied solutions. We also engage our employees in ecological activities. Joint planting of trees or sowing flower meadows brings not only environmental benefits, but also the integration of the Team – explains Maciej Kazienko, Vice-President of the Management Board of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone.
The construction of photovoltaic farms, artificial intelligence managing the heat system and the improvement of energy efficiency as well as the implementation of business goals can go hand in hand with environmental protection. This is what the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone does. PSEZ implements ecological projects by sharing good practices with entrepreneurs.
The Pomeranian Special Economic Zone is a leader among special economic zones in Poland. It acts on behalf of the Polish Investment Zone, being responsible for comprehensive investor services in part of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The zone provides public aid in the form of a tax relief for new investments, and also provides consulting and advisory assistance to entrepreneurs and supports them in their search for well-qualified staff. In pursuing its business goals, PSSE works to minimize its impact on the environment.
PSEZ has performed an energy audit that supports investments. Photovoltaic panels were installed on the roofs of the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park in order to improve the energy efficiency of the largest facility belonging to the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone. In 2023, the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone will build photovoltaic micro-installations in the Tczew, Żarnowiec and Ostaszewo subzones.
