– This ship is our newest build. The entire design process was supervised by Stena. This is ship #7 in the series. They differ in length and sometimes in equipment. The general name of these ro-pax series is: E-Flexer. They are all designed to be easily extended. From the machine towards the bow it is possible to extend it. We already have orders for 12 ships of this type. – says the captain of the Stela Estelle ferry master mariner Wojciech Jurgas.
The ship is built according to the concept of an integrated bridge, i.e. from one command point we have access to most of the devices. We have conventional diesel drive and adjustable propellers. In order to reduce fuel consumption: we regulate this not only by the pitch of the propeller – speed, but also by the rotation of the machine. The engines can be powered by methanol or gas.
– Stena connects societies and economies – concluded prof. Marek Grzybowski – president of the board of the Baltic Maritime and Space Cluster, coordinator of the Maritime Publicists Club. – It connects Poland and Scandinavian countries economically; I hope that our cluster and the companies of our cluster will use Stena for this connection with the Scandinavian world
– To which I cordially invite you – encouraged director Pedro Canchaya – Travel Commercial Manager Baltic Sea South & Baltic Sea North Stena Line Polska sp. z o.o. – I am very glad that you could find a moment to come here to see our two vessels, because it is the twin of Stenie Ebba and if you liked it, we invite you to use our services often.
