Port Gdynia – reconstruction of the Indian Quay
The NDI Group will reconstruct the Indian Quay in Port Gdynia. The reconstruction of the Indian Quay along the length of approximately 540 meters will be carried out. It will also be extended by 6 meters. The new quay wall will be made of anchored pipe piles. The anchoring of the wall will take place at a depth of about 10 meters below the water surface.
The dredging works will be carried out to a depth of 15.5 meters. The volume of the dredging works is about 80,000 m3. m3. The investment area will be cleared of unexploded ordnance and deepened to 15.5 meters. Bulk carriers will moor here. The new quay structure will enable deepening of the basin to 17 meters.
