For the third time in a row, Gdańsk University of Technology took third place among the best technical universities in the country, and in the classification covering all Polish universities, it again maintained its high, sixth position. At the same time, GUT offers three majors that have been recognized as the best in Poland.
Compared to last year’s edition of the ranking, GUT’s position has not changed. In the ranking of technical universities, the university took third place, and in the classification covering all universities – regardless of the profile of their activity – it maintained sixth place. This year, the classification of the best fields of study turned out to be a great success, with three representatives of the educational offer of the Gdańsk University of Technology:
Spatial management (Faculty of Architecture, in 2022: 4th place)
Environmental Engineering (Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, in 2022: 1st place)
Chemical technology (Faculty of Chemistry, in 2022: 3rd place)
– We are constantly moving forward, we are not slowing down and we are among the best again. By maintaining our place at the forefront of the general classification, and above all by defending our place on the podium in the classification of technical universities, we have confirmed both our high aspirations and the right choice of our university’s development paths – said prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Rector of GUT. – I was also very happy to receive information that as many as three of our majors were selected as the best in Poland. Our results are a strong signal for this year’s high school graduates that by choosing to study at GUT, they will receive the highest quality of education in modern conditions, great career prospects, as well as all the advantages of living in Gdańsk by the Baltic Sea.
