ASE Technology Group has announced a strategic partnership with Schneider Electric aimed at modernizing and sustainably developing Polish ports. The partnership focuses on implementing innovative technological solutions that will improve the operational efficiency and environmental friendliness of port infrastructure.

The ASE Technology Group with Schneider Electric offers Shore Connection technology – a system for powering ships with electricity from shore. This solution will reduce exhaust emissions and noise in ports. The ship power system from the shore meets stringent EU requirements, such as AFIR, the New Green Deal and FuelEU Maritime.

 

The ASE Technology Group and its subsidiaries – BIPRORAF, PROJMORS, EKO-KONSULT and Elmech-ASE – in cooperation with Schneider Electric, will offer comprehensive services in the field of port energy modernization. Thanks to this, Polish ports will gain access to the most advanced solutions in energy management.

Shore-based power supply for ships will become a requirement for major EU ports from 2030. The partnership between ASE Group and Schneider Electric will help achieve a modern standard for powering ships in seaports. Energy efficiency is an additional benefit of this cooperation.
