Gdansk Science and Technology Park 2024-2025
The Gdańsk Science and Technology Park was characterized by dynamic development in 2024. The project team continues the pace achieved in previous years. The Gdańsk Science and Technology Park team has expanded its activities with new initiatives supporting entrepreneurship, innovation and international cooperation. Gdańsk Science and Technology Park, the mission is to develop a center of innovation and cooperation in Pomerania, it is carried out “FULLY AHEAD”
The Gdańsk Science and Technology Park has implemented several key projects that will have a significant impact on the development and support of innovative technology companies in 2024. They will be important for the operations of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in 2025.
ACCELERATIONS
Startup Booster Poland – Smart UP: In 2024, the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park joined the accelerators of the program implemented by PARP, acquiring nearly PLN 17 million for the development of the Acceleration Zone. The program supports startups and innovative teams through mentoring support, funds and a network of business contacts.
IDA 2024: In 2024, in partnership with the Polish Development Fund, we implemented the second edition of the IDA (Investments Dual-use Adaptation) program, which connects small technology companies with the defense industry, the military sector and investment funds. The program supports innovative solutions for defense and develops new technologies in cooperation with the public and private sectors.
The next important stage was the signing of an agreement under the European Funds for a Modern Economy (FENG) and the commencement of services within the Pomeranian EDIH, i.e. the European Digital Innovation Hub in Gdańsk. Thanks to this, our Park has become a key point on the map of European initiatives supporting the digital transformation of companies, strengthening them in the implementation of modern digital technologies.
HACKATHONS
2024 is a time of intensification of hackathon organization, which joined our key events. Hackathons such as Best Coding Marathon, Hackjam Hackerspace Global Gamejam, Cassini Hackathon, Hack4Change and Quantum Hackathon attracted hundreds of technology enthusiasts. Knowledge, experiences were exchanged and real technological problems were solved.
In 2024, we also launched, together with Inkubator Starter and PPNT Gdynia, a new edition of the Hej Startup program in partnership with Sebastian Kulczyk’s InCredibles mentoring program. This program focuses on supporting young, innovative companies through financing, substantive assistance and access to global markets.

In 2024, the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park continued its dynamic development:
Our Park became a workplace for another 15 new tenants, which made the leased area reach the level of 97.49% of the total available space.
The Co-Work Zone gained 21 new entities, and the area designated for flexible offices and collaboration spaces exceeded 500 m².
In 2024, we received the prestigious Porta In Posterum Award – Gateway to the Future for our contribution to the development of entrepreneurship and economic growth of the Pomerania region. This distinction received from the Employers of Pomerania is a recognition of our work to support innovative companies, start-ups and digital transformation, which are key to the competitiveness of the region.
We look to the future with optimism, ready for the challenges that 2025 will bring. The Gdańsk Science and Technology Park will continue its mission of supporting the development of high-tech companies, organizing events and active participation in international research and development projects. We are convinced that 2025 will bring further successes, challenges and international projects that will contribute to the further development of our ecosystem.
