CRIST will build an innovative production line for PLN 52.6 million

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) of the Polish government granted the CRIST shipyard in Gdynia a loan of PLN 52.6 million for the construction of an innovative production line.
The production line will be used to build innovative structures for offshore wind energy – the Fund’s press office reported. Project entitled “Increasing production capacity by building a technological line for innovative products in the offshore wind energy supply chain at CRIST S.A.” The total investment cost of the CRIST shipyard in Gdynia will amount to over PLN 70 million.
The project is to be implemented by the end of 2027. The technological line will produce structures for offshore wind energy.
The following will be built at the CRIST shipyard: offshore transformer stations for wind farms – complete, fully equipped stations or their parts; foundations for offshore wind farms, in particular floating foundations; and floating engineering objects for the installation or transport of offshore wind farm elements to the destination/wind field.
