SEA-EU will continue

The SEA-EU Governing Board has decided to continue cooperation within the European Union Maritime Universities Alliance in Cologne. SEA-EU aims to be the European inter-university campus of the future. SEA-EU will offer innovative study programmes, leading ambitious international research projects. Cooperation with global stakeholders will continue.
The Baltic Sea and Space Cluster is a business partner of SEA EU.
The rectors of the coastal universities have signed a memorandum. The rectors of the Maritime Universities have committed to creating a legal basis for SEA-EU. Within the framework of the “European Universities Initiative” programme, activities will continue to provide funding after the end of the project in 2027.
A cooperation agreement on STORM studies has been signed. A decision has been made on scholarships for the best candidates for the interdisciplinary SeaBluE and MIPMAL studies. These studies include studies in port management, the blue economy, and oceanographic research. The first students will start their studies already this academic year.
