Financial Support for Social Economy SMEs in the Blue Economy Sector

Application for the European Living Lab under BLUEDOTS project is now open.

From 23 June 2025 until 23 August 2025, we opened the second Call for Proposals for Financial Support targeting Social Economy SMEs and enabling organizations in the blue sector across Europe.

This initiative is designed to foster the digital transformation of operations within the blue economy, driving a transition toward smarter, more sustainable, and inclusive business models.

Key details of the Open Call

  • Application Period: 23 June 2025 – 23 August 2025
  • Eligibility: Social Economy SMEs and enabling organisations active in the blue economy sector in Europe.
  • Selected Beneficiaries: Up to 250 organisations will be chosen to participate in the BLUEDOTS Financial Facility Programme.

Financial Support:

Beneficiaries will receive up to €800 per organization (covering expenses for up to two people) to support their travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs.

Capacity Building Event

Selected participants will attend a two-day transnational capacity-building event on 23–24 September 2025 in Brussels, Belgium.

This event will provide:

  • Opportunities to exchange knowledge with international experts, SMEs, and enabling organizations.
  • Insights into integrating digital-social innovation principles into blue economy operations.
  • Practical workshops and networking opportunities.
