Polish Ports 2030 Congress – a strategy for competitive and safe Polish ports and Polish economy

The Polish Ports 2030 Congress showed the determination of the Polish maritime industry in creating a common development and security strategy. During the Congress, cooperation agreements were signed in the implementation of a common strategy for digitalization, infrastructure development, ensuring energy and economic security of Poland.
Around 900 participants took part in the Congress. Representatives of business, government and state and local government administration came to the event organized by GospodarkaMorska.pl. Representatives of science and journalists participated in the Congress. All members of the Baltic Maritime and Space Cluster were present, who participated in discussion panels or business meetings. There was also a zone where business representatives had positions. A special business workshop was held.
The presidents of the boards of large seaports signed the Agreement on the Cooperation of Polish Seaports on the first day of the Polish Ports 2030 Congress. The agreement was signed by the presidents of the ports of Gdańsk, Gdynia and Szczecin-Świnoujście in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Arkadiusz Marchewka. The agreement provides for joint actions to strengthen the position of Polish seaports in the global logistics system. The seaport boards will cooperate in planning infrastructure investments. Polish Seaports will jointly develop the “Development Program of Polish Seaports until 2035 with a perspective until 2060”.
Four companies involved in the development of Polish offshore wind energy have signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation in the development of an offshore wind fleet in Poland during the opening of the Sea Ports 2030 Congress. The agreement on cooperation in the construction and operation of the Polish offshore wind fleet was signed by the presidents of PGE Baltica (developer of offshore wind farms), CRIST (production shipyard) and Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic (production of equipment) and WIKE (future operator of the offshore fleet). The presidents of the companies declared cooperation in the design and construction of installation and service units for offshore wind farms. CRIST, WIKE and GPB will jointly participate in tender procedures for the charter of ships for PGE.
On the second day of the Polish Ports 2030 Congress, an agreement for the use of port infrastructure for the construction of an offshore wind farm was signed.
Ocean Winds will install wind turbines at the BC-Winds farm from the T5 terminal in the Baltic Hub in Gdańsk. The agreement was signed by representatives of Ocean Winds and Baltica 2.
The agreement between the CRIST and ASE groups was signed by representatives of the companies. The agreement provides for cooperation between companies operating in the Polish supply chain for offshore wind energy.
