ENMC 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆

The European Network of Maritime Clusters (ENMC) held its 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 on June 10th at the 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 premises during UNOC3 week.

🇪🇺 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗱:

• 2025-2026 strategic roadmap & priorities.
• Strengthened commitment to cross-border knowledge sharing and innovation transfer.
• Expanded collaborative project initiatives following our successful BLUMORPHO partnership in hashtag#Monaco, such as with EUROMARITIME for the 2026 edition in hashtag#Marseille.
• Reinforced ENMC’s role as the common voice of European maritime clusters.

🐠 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴: Holding our AGA during hashtag#UNOC3 week underscored our commitment to connecting European maritime innovation with global ocean governance. Our members’ diverse expertise — from inland waterways to coastal innovations — demonstrates that every European nation contributes to sustainable ocean management.

🇫🇷The European Network of Maritime Clusters (ENMC) organized its side-event roundtable 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘺 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵? on June 10th during the 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺, which brought together Presidents and representatives from European maritime clusters.

🇪🇺 The dialogue was driven by our Chairman, Fabrice MAIRE — Cluster Maritime Luxembourgeois asbl, and our Vice-Chairmen & Members: Javier Garat Pérez — Clúster Marítimo Español, Ruben Eiras — Fórum Oceano, Mario Mattioli — Federazione del Mare, Pierre LEONIDAS — Cluster Maritime Français, prof. Marek GRZYBOWSKI — Baltic Sea & Space Cluster, and Kinnie De Beule — De Blauwe Cluster (Blue Cluster) vzw. Thank you to Jacqueline Syndercombe for brilliantly moderating the session!

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲-𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲:

• 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 play a vital role in bridging business and policy, catalyzing innovation and driving a sustainable blue economy.

• 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 is foundational for stability amid rising geopolitical tensions. Smart data, smart ports, and strategic logistics — including space tech — are key.

• 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 and 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 go hand in hand. Supporting traditional fisheries while embracing alternative food systems is essential.

• 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 is a game changer — accelerating the energy transition and creating jobs.

• 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 are vital for sea level resilience and strengthening coastal communities.

• 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 in offshore infrastructure can restore species and habitats, and reinforce marine protected areas — even when linked to larger investments.

• A holistic 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 with space for innovation and multi-use infrastructure is crucial, especially for countries with limited sea space.

🌊 To conclude, 𝗹𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀!
