Echogram S.C. Completes First Bathymetric Survey for BALTICA 2 Trenchless Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Construction
Echogram S.C. is pleased to announce the successful completion of its first bathymetric measurements for the BALTICA 2 trenchless horizontal directional drilling (HDD) project.

The scope of work included:
Preparation of a detailed works method statement in line with client requirements (Ørsted)
Development of RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) procedures
Establishment of a dedicated data processing workflow tailored to Ørsted’s specifications
Execution of bathymetric surveys and delivery of processed data fully compliant with client standards
This milestone marks an important step in supporting the BALTICA 2 offshore wind development and demonstrates Echogram S.C.’s ability to provide precise, reliable, and client-oriented hydrographic survey solutions.

The Baltica 2 offshore wind farm will be built in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea, near the towns of Ustka and Choczewo. Baltica 2 will consist of 107 turbines, each with a capacity of 14 MW, spread over an area of approximately 190 square kilometers. The distance from the shore to the nearest offshore turbine will be approximately 40 kilometers. The turbines will be mounted on monopile foundations. Four offshore transformer stations will be constructed for the offshore wind farm.
