Fincantieri with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

Understanding (MoU) During the MSPO International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce. This agreement, signed by Mauro Manzini, our VP Sales of the Naval Vessels Division, and Jan Grabowski, VP of PGZ, establishes a framework for strategic collaboration aimed at supporting the modernization of the Polish Navy, with a particular focus on the ORKA submarine acquisition program.

Fincantieri is offering the Polish Navy 212NFS submarines and a gap-filler solution, which could be a 212A or Sauro submarine. The Italian company assures its readiness to deliver one of the submarines already under construction as the first. The submarine built by Fincantieri was intended for the Italian Navy (Marina Militare).
