Gdańsk University of Technology has launched a counter-drone radar laboratory. The Counter-Urones Radar Laboratory was established in collaboration with Advanced Protection Systems (APS) from Gdynia. The company specializes in the design of radars and counter-drone systems. The laboratory will host classes for students. Students will work with real data from real APS radar systems.

Students will be trained in practical skills in detection techniques, estimation, beamforming, tracking, and mathematical and computer modeling. The knowledge acquired during the training will enable them to apply their skills in industries unrelated to radiolocation. After laboratory training, students will be able to use communication systems, measurement devices, and object identification systems.
