CTO S.A. – Visit of representatives of the Ministry of National Defence

    

Representatives of the Ministry of National Defense were present at the Ship Technology Center S.A., including:

The Head and representatives of the Maritime Technology Branch of the Maritime Technology Branch of the Maritime Technology Branch of the Armed Forces Support Inspectorate

Representatives of the Shipbuilding Branch and the Standardization and Security Branch

The purpose of the visit was to showcase the potential of CTO S.A., a unique research and development facility that plays a key role in the design and construction of warships

Integration of hydromechanical research into the design of Polish Navy vessels.

During the meeting, the importance of hydromechanics was particularly emphasized as a key aspect of the construction and acquisition of new combat and auxiliary vessels for the Polish Navy. CTO S.A. has been implementing advanced hydromechanical research into design processes for years, ensuring optimal operational parameters and reliability of future vessels.

The numerical hub was of interest to representatives of the Polish Navy.

The development of CTO S.A.’s digital expertise includes the use of CFD and FEM tools for hydrodynamic and structural analyses. CTO’s digital infrastructure operates in close synergy with experimental laboratories. This ensures that CTO S.A. is the only comprehensive center in the country supporting the design, testing, and optimization of vessels.
