University of Gdańsk among the 10 best universities in Europe

The University of Gdańsk (UG) is among the 10 best-rated universities in Europe in the EDUopinions 2026 ranking. The ranking is based on student and alumni opinions collected throughout 2025. UG is one of only two Polish universities included in the European ranking. The EDUopinions ranking encompasses the quality of education, academic and administrative support for students, campus atmosphere, and the overall learning experience across all fields of study.
The University of Gdańsk (UG) also ranks highly in prestigious rankings such as the Perspektywy ranking and the QS World University Rankings. These rankings are based on the scientific achievements of UG professors and researchers, high publication rates in international scientific journals and at international conferences, and the internationalization of research and student education.
Students and graduates give the highest marks to support for international students (welcome center, administration), the quality of teaching from a student perspective, the atmosphere at the university, the integration of foreign and Polish students, attractive student life and low costs of living.The EDUopinions 2026 ranking presents the opinions of students and graduates on the website.
