Centrum Techniki Okretowej carried out a series of advanced ROV tests

Centrum Techniki Okretowej S.A., in cooperation with the Subsee team and Smart Nautilus operators (Cyprus), carried out a series of advanced ROV tests in the research infrastructure of CTO S.A.

The joint test program was prepared following discussions initiated during a meeting at Incubator STARTER with Artur Słoboda, and then carried out under controlled conditions using the resources and facilities of CTO S.A.

The scope of the tests included: simulation of sea states using a wave generator, assessment of the precision of ROV guidance along a given inspection line with variable wave parameters, hull inspections in various environmental conditions (biofouling), tests of flat-bottomed vessels, attempts to retrieve objects from the bottom and water column, and verification of maneuverability and quality of video footage.
