University of Gdańsk in the TOP 10 in Poland. The University of Gdańsk is among the top ten academic institutions in Poland in the Perspektywy 2026 Higher Education Ranking. This is the highest position UG has ever held in the history of the most important and prestigious higher education ranking in the country.
“Advancing to the top ten universities in Poland is a success for the entire academic community of the University of Gdańsk. It is the result of a consistently implemented development strategy, ambitious goals, and the daily work of our researchers, academic teachers, doctoral candidates, students, and administrative staff. This result demonstrates that the University of Gdańsk is now among the leaders of Polish higher education,” emphasizes the Rector of the University of Gdańsk, Professor Piotr Stepnowski.
A particular success is the first place in Poland for the Environmental Protection program. Other programs offered by the University of Gdańsk also achieved high rankings, confirming the university’s strong position in natural sciences, social sciences, economics, and the humanities.
