Port of Gdynia – another step in the construction of the Outer Port

The Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. is preparing a tender for the “Landing of Basin II, Stage I (Remontowe Quay) in Gdynia, including the design and construction of a road system in the landed area.”

This investment will open up new port space and prepare it for further infrastructure development. The scope of the contract includes the execution of hydrotechnical works, the landing of part of Basin II, the reconstruction of existing infrastructure, and the design and construction of a road system in the newly created area. The investment will land a portion of the basin covering approximately 3 hectares. The work will also include moving the existing development lines of the Remontowe, Czołowe, and Zachodnie quays, with a total length of approximately 168 meters, into the basin, and constructing a new Closing Quay.

A road system will be constructed in the landed area, including a circular intersection and associated infrastructure. The new traffic solutions will be linked to the system being developed to serve the outer piers of the Port of Gdynia. This will make the investment in Basin II a significant development for the future access infrastructure to the Outer Port.
