The Świnoujście container port on the Baltic Sea will be built for PLN 10 billion

Construction of a technical road has begun on the Przylądek Pomerania project in Świnoujście. The road leads to the Świnoujście Container Port on the Baltic Sea, which will be built at a cost of PLN 10 billion.

The new container terminal will be built on the landed part of the Pomeranian Bay. The container port will be located east of the LNG terminal. The port will be deep and adapted to handle the largest ocean-going container ships entering the Baltic Sea.

The investor will build approximately 186 hectares of new land. The port will extend out to sea. The container terminal will have a 1.3-kilometer quay. STS cranes will enable a transshipment capacity of up to 2 million TEU per year. A total of 3 kilometers of new quays and an approach track to the terminal will be constructed. The port will be 17 meters deep. Modern road and rail infrastructure will lead to the port. The port will be connected to the national and European transport networks (TENT).
