The flag was raised on ORP Mewa (603) Mine Destroyer

The flag of the ship from the hands of the secretary of state Jacek Siewiery was received by the first commander of the ship, Cdr Bartosz Blaszke with the deputy, lieutenant Marta Grzędziel.

The ceremony was attended by officers and sailors of the Polish Navy and the Secretary of State – head of the National Security Bureau Jacek Siewiera, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy Marcin Horała, General Commander of the RSZ Gen. Wiesław Kukuła, Polish Navy inspector, Vice Admiral Jarosław Ziemiański, commander of Fo Kmdr Andrzej Ogrodnik, commander 8. Fow Cdr Piotr Sikora, rector-commandant of AMW Rear Admiral prof. dr hab. Tomasz Szubrycht, members of the higher commanding staff and commander of the Polish Navy units and institutions. The ceremony was attended by the chairman of the Sejm and Senate National Defense Committee Michał Jach and Marcin Bosacki, Pomeranian voivode Dariusz Drelich and Warmian-Masurian Artur Cholewa, as well as the godmother of the ship Anna Kułagin. At the ceremony was Marcin Ryngwelski, President of the Management Board of Shipyard Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. in which the ship was built.
