Wiesław Piotrzkowski as a Master Mariner has over 20 years of experience in working at sea. for the next two decades he worked as the captain of the Port of Gdansk. He is a specialist in maritime transport, as well as activities related to safety and rescue at sea.
As a doctor of engineering and technical sciences, he shares his knowledge with students of two universities in Gdynia – the Naval Academy and the Maritime University. Since 2016, he has been managing the Maritime Office in Gdynia, which was the investor in the construction of the Vistula Spit Shipping Canal.
Captain Wiesław Piotrzkowski has always emphasized the great importance of this investment for the development of waterways in Poland.
