PRS WEBINAR ON PORT STATE CONTROL FOR SHIPOWNERS AND OPERATORS
On July 25, 2023, the Polish Register of Shipping is organizing a webinar on Port State Control issues. The training is dedicated to ship owners and ship operators.
Port State Control inspections are performed to verify if ships and their equipment comply with the requirements of international regulations (from IMO and ILO) so the ships operate in compliance, ensuring safe and pollution-free shipping. Ship owners and operators should seek to assure their ships are compliant with the regulations to avoid PSC detentions.
Piotr Straszewski, PRS surveyor experienced in the PSC issues, will conduct the webinar. He will speak about the ISM code and Paris MoU requirements and present and discuss examples of PSC detentions, including on PRS ships.
Participation in the webinar is free of charge. Due to the topic’s importance, it should not be missed by any owner and operator of ships.
Details and registration information are available at the webinar site.
