Baltexpo 2023. The fair has started “full speed ahead”

4,600 guests registered for BALTEXPO 2023. Maritime industries are represented by 200 exhibitors and sponsors.

The opening ceremony of BALTEXPO 2023 was performed by former Deputy Speaker of the Senate Bogdan Borusewicz, Vice-Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Leszek Bonna, Vice-President of Gdańsk Piotr Borawski and President of MTG Andrzej Bojanowski.

Golden Anchors were awarded to organizations and companies whose activities and achievements are or may be important for the maritime economy.

The CRIST shipyard  received the Golden Anchor for the construction of a barge for the tunnel construction project at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. The ship with construction number NB 131 (official name – MPP) was ceremonially handed over to the operator. The Golden Anchor was received on behalf of the company by Jacek Milewski, member of the Management Board and financial director.

Elektryka Morska for the Research and Development Center in Szczecin and the Maritime University of Gdynia received awards in the “Offshore” category. The “Infrastructure” category consists of two equal awards. for Maritime Offices in Gdynia and Szczecin. In the “Military” category. The Remontowa Shipbuilding shipyard was awarded for the construction of the OORP Albatros and Mewa ships. Paweł Łuniewski, owner of the Mapalu company, received the Golden Anchor in the “Innovation” category for the development of a peripheral thruster. President of the Management Board of Remontowa Holding S.A. Adam Ruszkowski received the Golden Anchor award in the “Personality of maritime economy” category.

BALEXPO 2023 began with the Opening Debate of the Conference: Geopolitical importance of maritime economy – can anything else surprise us?
