Space Operations Center in Gdańsk

The construction of the POLSA Operations Center in Gdańsk is included in the Polish Space Strategy. The center will be built near the Gdańsk Airport. The owner of the plot is the Gdańsk Economic Development Agency.
The Polish Space Agency (POLSA) will build a modern Operations Center. The center will collect, process and store satellite data. Scientists, research institutes, business and public administration will be able to use the center’s data. The investment cost is estimated at approximately PLN 120 million. The POLSA Operations Center, together with its administrative and office facilities, will become fully functional in 2027.
The Polish Space Agency (POLSA) is based in Gdansk, in the Science and Technology Park in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone.
The Baltic Maritime and Space Cluster together with the Space Sciences Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Gdansk branch) organizes 4 events (conferences and seminars) every year on the development of space technologies, the use of data obtained from statelits, space law, economics and finance, insurance and risk transfers in the space business.
