Opening of the Baltic Sea – Vistula Spit shipping canal

 

Polish President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister of the Polish government Matereusz Morawiecki, President of the PiS party Jarosław Kaczyński took part in the opening ceremony of the shipping channel at the Nowy Świat Harbor Master’s Office.
The first ship – the ship of the Maritime Office in Gdynia Zodiak II – passed through the navigation channel. The secon was Kaper-2.
The ceremony began with a concert of the Orchestra of the Inland Navigation School Complex of Cdr. Bolesław Romanowski from Nakło nad Notecią.
