Polish Register of Shipping S.A. (PRS) supervises the installation of the drilling system on board Sylur

Sylur, a ship of Lotos Petrobaltic, is the first Polish ship equipped with a drilling system. The system enables geological and engineering research up to 120 meters.

The Sylur is a DP2 Platform Supply Vessel. The vessel will conduct sea water surveys prior to the installation of wind farms. PSV was built in 2003 in Norway. the ship was rebuilt in 2018. The ship is 71.90 meters long and its gross tonnage is 2,150 tons.
