The Port of Gdynia Authority plans to build an intermodal terminal. The Port of Gdynia will receive funding for the construction of a railway terminal at the Port of Gdynia Logistics Center.
The Port of Gdynia Authority will receive funding of 50% of eligible costs. The investments will cost almost €16.8 million (approx. PLN 75 million). The funding will amount to approximately €8.4 million (approximately PLN 37.5 million). The application was submitted in a competition under the Connecting Europe Facility – Transport – Military Mobility (CEF2 Transport – Military Mobility).

The aim of the project is to adapt the infrastructure of the Port of Gdynia to the requirements of dual, civil-military use. The intermodal terminal will enable an increase in the share of cargo transport by rail. The intermodal terminal will have 2 cargo tracks with a length of approximately 750 m each. The railway track will have a permanent loading ramp. Next to the main track there will be an access track and a communication track.
