Gdynia – over 1.5 million tourists in 2023

Gdynia hosted over 1.5 million tourists in 2023. The largest percentage of foreign guests, 37.1%, were from Germany. 50,000 Czechs visited Gdynia in 2023. Its beach, port and marina are attractive to tourists from the Czech Republic.
Gdynia is visited by large groups of tourists from Germany, Slovakia and Scandinavian countries. Many tourists reach Gdynia by passenger ships and yachts.
Gdynia has two large marinas. There are 4 swimming areas in Gdynia with beaches with sea rescuers.
Tourists from Sweden come to Gdynia by ferry from Karlskrona. Many tourists come to Gdynia from good air connections with European Union countries.
