Tricity is the most attractive in Poland for investors – according to research conducted by Antal and Cushman & Wakefield. The research partners are Baker McKenzie, PAIH, Employers of Poland, Pro Progressio and Vastint, Invest in Pomerania. The conference at which the research was presented took place at the new headquarters of LSEG – 3T Office Park in Gdynia.
The Tricity consists of Gdynia, Sopot and Gdańsk. In total, these cities and surrounding areas are inhabited by approximately 1.6 million people. There are sea ports, shipyards, companies operating in global logistics, IT companies serving the maritime industries and international business in Gdańsk and Gdynia.
Tricity is characterized by a very good tenant mix. Most regional cities are based on the development of the BSS industry, but here we also have the energy and transport sectors. All this means that the demand on the Tri-City market is greater and more diversified than on other regional markets.
Tricity is the fourth in Poland in the BSS sector (modern business services sector). Approximately 40,000 employees work at BSS in Tricity. A large part of them are employees operating in the global logistics sector, maritime industries, companies managing ship fleets, IT specialists operating IoT systems, ports and global logistics. Companies serving the fish and seafood processing industry and the yacht production industry operate here, in which Poland is one of the leaders in the European Union. In Tricity, business services include the maritime tourist industry and ferry connections with Sweden.
