The Polish Navy celebrated the 25th anniversary of Poland’s accession to NATO in Gdynia

Ceremonies commemorating the 25th anniversary of Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization took place in Gdynia on March 12.

Pomeranian Voivode Beata Rutkiewicz, Mayor of Gdynia Wojciech Szczurek and the head of the Maritime Board – Deputy Inspector of the Navy Cadm. Mirosław Jurkowlaniec and the inhabitants of Gdynia took part in the ceremony in front of the Monument to Maritime Poland in Gdynia.
The event was also attended by a group of Italian officers and sailors representing the crew of the ITS Luigi Rizzo (F595) missile frigate, which since January has been tasked with supporting NATO’s eastern flank and air defense of the Polish coast as part of the pk mission. “Brilliant Shield”.
