Maritime Industry Safety Forum 2024

The 6th edition of the Maritime Industry Safety Forum 2024 took place on April 18, 2024. Maritime Industry Safety Forum 2024 organized by the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone and PZU LAB and PZU S.A.

The main theme of the 6th edition of the Maritime Industry Safety Forum were topics related to the use of artificial intelligence and modern energy solutions in maritime industries. The possibilities of using digital twins in business were presented.
The issues of AI and digital twins were presented during three thematic blocks. Dual-use technologies for communication security in maritime transport were presented. Projects qualified for the NATO DIANA accelerator were presented, including: use of intelligent antennas from the REVOBEAM start-up. Discussed is the use of AI in maritime autonomous ships and in research on energy infrastructure in the Baltic Sea. The possibilities of digital simulations in ensuring the safety of offshore wind farms were presented. The last block of the presentation included information about the Digital Twin technology.

 

In the exhibition zone during the event, you could get acquainted with the offers of companies important to the maritime industry, including: LKK, Center for New Competences, Firefly Poland, BELSE, PZU LAB, ABB Marine, Euvic, Mobile Monitoring and the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery KEZO Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
