Port of Gdansk – 18 million tons of crude oil and fuels in 1H of 2023
Port of Gdansk Naftoport operates at top speed. The terminal’s handling load is related to the war in Ukraine and the embargo on Russian hydrocarbons. Naftoport belongs to the PERN capital group. In the first half of this year The terminal handled almost 18 million tons of crude oil and fuels. This is two-thirds more oil and products than in the same period last year. In H1 2023, 222 tankers called at the terminal’s quays. There were 163 ships in 1H 2022.
Naftoport is the only sea terminal for transshipment of crude oil in Poland and the largest domestic terminal for transshipment of refined products.
